Nora Jean Golden, 65, of Blacksburg, departed this life Tuesday, June 27, 2017 in her home in Blacksburg. Born in Virginia on June 1, 1952, she was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Fred Golden and her parents Robert Edgar and Dora Jane Harrison Lane and several brothers and sisters.

She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved daughter Penny and Jeffery Akers of Blacksburg; her six grandchildren; and her three great-grandchildren; her sister Rebecca Crouch of Bedford.
