Ollie Janie Pruitt, 49, of Pulaski, departed this life Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center at Radford. Born in Welch, WV on July 11, 1962, she was a daughter of the late Ivan W. and Frances Naomi Owens Shelton. She was blessed to share a close life relationship with her family and friends in Pulaski.

Ollie leaves to cherish her memory her sons Joshua Friend of Buchanan, WV and Kenny Friend of West Virginia; her daughter Stella Mae Pathmore of Milton, Florida; her brothers Ivan and his wife April Shelton with whom she made her home in Pulaski, Michael Shelton also of the home; her sisters Jennifer Ahmed and Lilly Hernandez both of North Carolina; and her eight grandchildren.
