PATRICK WILSON JOHNSON, 71, of Narrows, passed sway in the care of hospice and his family at his home on December 13, 2017. He was born in Raymondsville, Texas on January 26, 1946 and was preceded in death by his mother, Dudley Sharp Johnson and his father, Jesse Wilson Johnson. He is survived by his sister Susan Kirby (Don) of Ripplemead and his brother Jeffrey Johnson (Deborah) of Christiansburg. He is also survived by nephews Robert Kirby (Gayle), Ryan Kirby (Jenn), Brock Johnson, Jesse Johnson and nieces Meggen Devlin (Steven) , Donna Jo Voss (Roger), and Cassandra Pagan (Pablo). The family would like to thank his two wonderful caregivers, Melissa Sadler and Kristin Martin, for their love and dedication to Patrick.

Patrick served his country in the United States Air Force during the Viet Nam War. He attended Wytheville Community College and the University of Texas at Austin. Patrick loved gardening, raising plants and advocating for social justice for all.

A gathering of friends to celebrate Patrick's life will be held at the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow Street, Pembroke, on Sunday December 17, 2017 from three until five pm .Online condolences may be sent by visiting kendallfuneralhome.com.
