"Patty" Hazel Maddline Sessor, 74, of Big Stony Road, Ripplemead, departed this life Sunday evening, April 7, 2019 at home in the care of her loving family and hospice. Born in Giles County on December 7, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Orbie Lee and Pauline Atkins Cumbee. She was a graduate of Giles High School (1964), a member of River View Baptist Church and was retired from housekeeping at the Marriott Inn in Blacksburg. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband "Vic" Sessor, her brother Donnie Cumbee, and her sisters Betty Dowdy and JoAnn Harless.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter and son-in-law Vicky and Tim Dalton of Ripplemead; her grandchildren Chris Dalton, Caleb Dalton, and Brittany Nemkovich (Michael); her great-grandchildren Bentley Dalton, Orion Dalton, Will Merrix, Avert Nemkovich, and Michael Nemkovich; her brother and sister-in-law Ronnie and Claudine Cumbee; her sisters and brothers-in-law Geneva and Cecil Robinette Barbara and Jimmy Langford, and Charlotte Hendrickson.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with Pastor Shahn Wilburn officiating. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours before the services.
