Phyllis Pyles Jennings, 74 passed away on Monday, May 13, 2019 at her home in Dublin, Virginia after a long illness. She was born on April 17, 1945 in Pearisburg, Virginia to the late Howard Sam Pyles and Margie Lafon Pyles.

In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her brothers Carrol and Bobby Croy, and sisters Lulu Mae Croy Long and Jo Ann Croy Lindsey.

She is survived by her loving brother Howard Pyles Jr. (Nancy), sisters Betty Martin Thomas, Boots Chang, and Mary Jane Guynn, a "special daughter" Pudgie Jones, her son Cody, several nieces, nephews, and special friends.

There will be a graveside service to celebrate her life on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 2:00 PM in Birchlawn Abby in Pearisburg, VA. Family will receive friends at the mausoleum one hour prior to the service. Kendall Funeral Home-Pembroke is in charge of arrangements.
