Phyllis Ann Broyles Rhodes, age 65, of Newport died Wednesday afternoon, June 27, 2018 at Carilion Giles Community Hospital in Pearisburg. She was born in Christiansburg, VA on November 24, 1952 to Garnett A. and Evelyn S. Broyles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Eugene (Diana) Broyles. Survivors include husband, Randy Rhodes; daughter, Rylee Rhodes of Christiansburg; son, Ross (Jennifer Richardson) of San Diego, CA; grandsons, Evan Rhodes and River Rhodes; siblings, Joan Vinson and Donald (Belinda) Broyles.
