Raymond Clinton Hilton, 81, formerly of Pembroke, and recently of Sandwich, Illinois, departed this life Saturday evening December 16, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Aurora, Illinois. Born in Pearisburg, Virginia on November 13, 1936, he was a son of the late Raymond and Mary Helen Mays Hilton. Clinton was raised in Pembroke, as a child was in the nurture of the Pembroke Assembly of God, graduated a "Corncutter" in the Pembroke High School class of 1957, served in the US Navy, and was employed at Spraying Systems and 1803 Candles. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Linda H. McGuire.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter and son-in-law Debra and Darryl Beach of Waterman, Illinois; his son and daughter-in-law Randell and Mikki Hilton of Kansas City, Missouri and his grandchildren Michelle Stinnett, Greydon Halverson, Emily Hilton, and Zoey Beach; his brother James Hilton of Pembroke; his sister Phyllis H. Lucas of Ripplemead; his brother-in-law Cleaven McGuire of Pembroke and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be conducted Friday, December 22, 2017, at 12:30 pm in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel, 605 Snidow Street in Pembroke, Virginia with burial following in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg, Virginia.
