Rebecca Coleman Ramsey, 83 formerly of Peterstown, WV departed this life January 24, 2022 in the care of Heritage Hall-Rich Creek.  Born in Buchannan County on April 3, 1939, she was a daughter of the late James and Emma Deel Coleman.

Rebecca spent many days as a beaming operator for Celanese.  Rebecca was known to have a green thumb, loving on her flowers, and enjoyed quilting and crochet.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack Ramsey; a sister, Ellie Radbaugh; and brothers, Ray Coleman, Clell Coleman, and Albert Coleman.

Left to cherish her memory to their hearts are a son, Thomas Coleman and his wife, Amy of Christiansburg; a daughter, Patricia Canaway and her husband, Johnny of Haysi, VA; grandchildren, Michael, Chris, Emma, Kristy, and Alisha; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Stewart Coleman of Vinton, Ohio, Clinard Coleman of Haysi, VA, and Lee Coleman of Fredericksburg, VA; and a sister, Elvis Poole of Rich Creek, VA.

There will be a funeral service conducted Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Johnny Carter officiating.  Family will receive friends Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel.  A guestbook is available by visiting www.kendallfuneralhome.com .  The staff of Kendall Funeral Home are honored to be serving the Ramsey Family.
