Rebecca Jean Green Worrell, 62 of Pearisburg, Virginia departed this life October 21, 2023 in her home.  Born in Virginia on February 5, 1961 she was a daughter of the late Isaac and Barbara Moye Green.

Rebecca was a lady of many passions, with interests that centered around fishing, walking, reading, and, most importantly, her family. Her life was marked by her love for the outdoors, often spending her free time by a river or creek with a fishing rod in hand. She found peace in the tranquility of nature, the rustling of the leaves, and the sound of a babbling brook.

In addition to her parents, Rebecca is preceded in death by her brothers, Joe Green and Mike Green.

Left to cherish her memory to their hearts are her sons, Keith Worrell of Radford and Isaac Worrell (Wendy Ellison) of Pearisburg; grandchildren, Zoey Worrell, Arianna Worrell, Emma Rayne Carty, and Isaac Jasper Worrell; step-granddaughter, Madison Hill; brother, Richard Green (Rita) of Pearisburg; special sister-in-law, Debra Green; special niece, Valerie Shelor; and other nieces and nephews.  These family members were the cornerstone for Rebecca's life.
