Richard Lee Tickle, 61, of Dublin, departed this life Tuesday evening, January 10, 2012 at his home in the care of his family and hospice. He was born in Pulaski on September 5, 1950 a son of the late Jesse M. and Beulah Shockley Tickle. He was a heavy equipment operator, a race car fan and loved to watch Old NO 66 when his boys ran whether they won or not, and he enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by his brothers Francis and Robert William Tickle.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sons Matthew Tickle of Orlando, FL, Richard Montgomery (Montie) Tickle of Shawsville, and Robert William (Robbie) Tickle of Dublin; his sisters Merrianne Thompson of Dublin, Rose Quesenberry of Dublin, and Peggy Inge of Saxe, VA; his grandchildren Addie, James, Samantha, Makayla, Faith, Alisa, and Hailey Tickle.

Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Fairlawn Church of God with the Rev. Marcus Harrison officiating.
