Rita Breeden Lang, 74 of Christiansburg, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. Rita was born In Montgomery County on January 16, 1946 to the late Bradie W. and Gertrude Hudgins Breeden. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Amber Ratcliffe, Brothers, Larry "BO" Breeden and Robert Breeden, Sisters, Linda Scott and Robin Breeden.

Mrs. Lang is survived by her husband of 44 years, Sammy H. Lang, Sr. of the home, Daughters, Samantha Linkous and husband, Ellis of Dublin, Ann Ratcliffe and husband, David of Riner, Grandchildren, Jeffrey Ratcliffe, Jessica Ratcliffe, Barry Akers, Adam Linkous, Kenny Ratcliffe, Travis Ratcliffe and 16 Great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Kenneth Breeden of Christiansburg, Bradie "Shorty" Breeden of Christiansburg, Janie Dickerson of Willis, Ann Stulz of Christiansburg, Patty Goad of Hillsville, Tina Howell of Christiansburg and Shelly Roberts of Arkansas.

There will be a Graveside Service held on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. in the Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg with Pastor Eddie Kendall Officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 17, 2020 from 5 - 7 P.M. at Kendall Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers the family has ask that donations be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice or Breast Cancer awareness in Rita's memory.
