Robert Lee Wimmer, 34, of Eggleston and Pulaski, departed this life Monday evening, May 1, 2012 at Pulaski Community Hospital in Pulaski after a short illness. Born in Montgomery County on November 10, 1977, he was a son of Donald Lee and Donna Jean Covill Wimmer of Eggleston. He was employed with Dish Network in Christiansburg in Quality Assurance and was a former member of Eggleston United Methodist Church and the Eggleston Volunteer Fire Dept.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Laura P. Wimmer; his daughters Rebecca Dawn Harmon, Emily Grace Wimmer, and Kennedy Jean Wimmer of the home; his parents Donald Lee and Donna Covill Wimmer of Eggleston; his brother Shawn C. Wimmer of Dublin; his mother-in-law Donna McCoy-Musselman and her husband William of Blacksburg.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday evening at 7:00 pm in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with the Rev Mike Watson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from five until seven pm before the services. The family requests that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to defray the funeral expenses or for his daughters education trust.
