Roland Edward Hudson, 73, of Pearisburg departed this life Monday, January 29, 2018 at his home on Sunny Ridge. Born in Giles County on May 10, 1944, he was a son of the late Arthur Ellis and Dovie Pauline Albert Hudson. He was a retired floor finisher. Roland was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Jean White and Juanita "Sissie" Croy, and his brothers Buddy,Chapman, Arnold "Shorty", Ellis, Brownie, and Pat Hudson.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sons Eddie Williams and Christopher Williams of Pearisburg; his daughter Lisa Ann McKenna of Craig County; his six grandchildren and his four great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be conducted in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke, Friday at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends at the funeral home before the services, and following the services for a time of fellowship at the home of his son Chris, 1303 Green Valley Road, Eggleston .
