Ronald Dean Lang, a devoted father, grandfather, and companion went to his Heavenly home on January 12, 2026. Born on September 17, 1968 in Virginia he was a son of the late Gilbert Lang Jr and Ethel Williams Lang.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Delmar Cruise.
He leaves behind his companion of 16 years, Crystal Coleman; four children, Jennifer "Jena" Pennington (Jeremy), Amber Neice (Adam), Ronnie Lang (Melanie), Tyler Coleman; his ten grandchildren who he loved deeply, Braxton, Kenzie, Scarlett, Tracey, Skylynn, Ronald, Lexi, Shae, Cass, and Eli; a sister, Peggy Cruise; nephew, Gordon Cruise; great-nephew, Walker Lee Cruise; and his friend and mother of his children, Stephanie Neal Perdue.
Ronald had a caring heart and loved his cars. He would always help someone in need if he could. Ronnie loved to serve the community and was a life member of Newport and Eggleston Fire Departments. His loved being "PawPaw", it was his favorite title. He will be loved and missed deeply.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 17, 2026 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM in Kendall Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 3:00 PM in Kendall Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Poff officiating. Funeral services will conclude in the Williams Cemetery in Newport, VA where he will be laid to rest. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Ronald's "Ronnie's" honor to assist in offsetting the costs of funeral expenses to Kendall Funeral Home (540-626-7221).
