Ronald Wayne Waldron, 68, of Pearisburg died Monday, June 28, 2010 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. Born on Bent Mountain in Roanoke County on December 21, 1941 he was a son of Marie Franklin Waldron of Pembroke and the late Goode Sears Waldron. He was a veteran of the U S Army and was a retired tractor-trailer driver. Wayne was preceded in death by his father, his brother and sister-in-law Herlin and June Waldron and a nephew Dean Waldron.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Marie F. Waldron; his brothers Randall L. Waldron of Pembroke and Jeffrey G. "Chip" Waldron of Blacksburg; his sisters and brothers-in-law Sharon and Gary Meador of Pembroke, Brenda and Wayne Kasperski of Pearisburg, Dottie and Kenny Meredith of Pembroke, Terri Waldron of Newport, and a special friend and caregiver Junior Neeley.

Graveside services will be conducted Thursday morning at 10:00 AM in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg with Pastor Shahn Wilburn officiating. Military services will be conducted by American Legion Posts #311 Pembroke, #145 Peterstown, #68 Narrows and VFW Post #6000 Narrows. There will be no public visitation.
