Ruby Eileen Epperly, 87, of Painter School Road, Pembroke, departed this life Tuesday morning, May 1, 2018 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. Born in Pembroke on June 9, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Kyle and Bessie Willis Robertson. A beloved mother and homemaker she was a long-time member of Castle Rock Baptist Church in Pembroke. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Aubrey Gibbs Epperly, her grandson Troy Broyles and her sister and brothers.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son and daughter-in-law Aubrey Larry, Sr. and Mary Epperly of Pembroke; her daughter and son-in-law Sharon and David Broyles of Lindside, WV; her grandsons Larry Jr. and Kenneth Epperly of Pembroke; her granddaughter Michelle and her husband Michael Mann and family of Lindside, WV; her great-grandsons Aubrey Larry Epperly, III of Pearisburg and Will Campbell of Lindside, WV; her great granddaughters Cheyenne and Willow Epperly of Pembroke and many close relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday May 4, 2018 at 3:00 pm in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with Pastors Eddie Kendall and Gary Poff officiating. Burial will follow in the Anderson-Mt View Cemetery on Guinea Mt. The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours before the services.
