Sallie Mae Ryan, 74 of Dublin, VA departed this life Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center in the loving care of her family. Born July 14, 1946, she is a daughter of the late Charles and Virginia Sadler Collins.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Leroy and Charles C Collins.

Left to cherish her memory to their hearts are; her companion, Kenneth Lindsey of Little Creek; sons, Curtis (Rhonda) Rice, Rodney (Donna) Rice, and David (Angela) Rice; a daughter, Lisa (Larry) Ferrell; Grandchildren, Kevin (Leanna) Ferrell, Devin (Nina) Rice, Kristen (Jacob) Edwards, Cody (Marissa) Copenhaver, Kait Rice, Tyler Rice, Katrina Ferrell, and Kyle Ferrell; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Ferrell, Reilynn Edwards, Braxton Edwards, and Mason Rice; a twin brother, James Collins (Virginia); sisters-in-law, Ruth Collins and Ella Collins; and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial service held at the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel in Pembroke, VA with Pastor Dennis Haga officiating, Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 6:00 PM.
