Sandra Gail Martin Harris, 68 of Narrows, VA departed this life on May 10, 2022 in the loving care of her family after a valiant battle with cancer. Born on August 24, 1953 in Pearisburg, VA, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Maggie Perkins Martin.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory to their hearts are her husband, Larry Harris of 41 years; step-children, Larry Dean Harris of South Carolina, Cassandra Allen of Winston Salem, North Carolina, Sean Harris of Narrows, VA, and Michael Shrader of Narrows, VA; 8 grandchildren; a brother, James "Eddie" Martin (Marlene) of Narrows, VA; and special friends, Donnie and Sam Hare.

A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ward Harris officiating.  The family will receive friends at the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel Monday, May 16, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.  She will be laid to rest at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery.
