SANDRA GAIL PALMER, 57, of Wilderness Road, Dublin, VA departed this life Friday afternoon, June 10, 2016 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. She was born in Alexandria, VA on June 27, 1958. Sandra was a 1976 graduate of Giles High School in Pearisburg and was preceded in death by her husband Randell Steve Palmer.

She leaves to cherish her memory her parents Frank Leo and Jo Ann Hopkins of Roanoke; sisters Sherry Stump of Pearisburg and Tracie Hicks of Roanoke; her children April and Mitch Crigger of Pearisburg, Mandy Palmer of Dublin, Eric Palmer of Salem, Amy and Mark Lovern of Narrows, Darren Palmer of Pearisburg, J R Songer of Pearisburg, and daughter-in-law Kimberly Palmer of Pearisburg; her grandchildren Ashley Lovern, Ava Palmer, Shayla Blankenship, Sydney Blankenship, Payton Lovern, Aaron Lovell, Alex Palmer, Ryley Palmer, Shane Palmer, Chance Robertson and Chasse Robertson; and her great-great-granddaughter Alice.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 am at the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with Pastor Shahn Wilburn officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 5 until 7 pm. Burial will be in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg following the service.
