Savannah Desire Hickman Gates, 32 of Narrows, Virginia departed this life in her home on December 24, 2022, entering the gates of Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  Born in West Virginia on June 22, 1990, she is a daughter of Sandy Singh and the late, Douglas Hickman.

Savannah had a caring nature, and enjoyed taking care of others.  She was so proud of being a loving wife and Mommy to her two fur babies.  Savannah was a member of the family of faith at Truth Tabernacle in Pembroke, VA.  Savannah would always take delight with any new recipe she would find to share with her family.

In addition to her father, Savannah is preceded in death by her grandparents, Atha and Robert Hickman, and Peggy Hoadley.

Left to cherish her memory to their hearts are her husband, Rocky Gates of Narrows; mother, Sandy Singh of Ohio; father, Jatinder Bhangu; brother, Raj Bhangu (Gureen) of Ohio; and a neice, Saib Bhangu.

There will be a funeral service conducted on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Summit Apostolic Church in Summersville, WV with Pastor Donald Harris and Pastor Shawn Evans officiating.  Funeral services will conclude at Restlawn Cemetery in Victor, West, Virginia.  A guestbook is available to send condolences by visiting www.kendallfuneralhome.com .  The staff of Kendall Funeral Home are honored to serve the Gates family.
