Shirley Kay Hale, 69, of Collins Road, Pembroke, VA, departed this life Monday morning, October 21, 2019 at her home. Born in Giles Co. on June 13, 1950 she was a daughter of the late Carl and Ollie Poston Mabe. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert E Hale, Jr, her daughter Karen Hale, her son Robert Hale III, her brothers Carl Mabe, AllenMabe, and Charles Mabe, and her sister Rhoda M. Hutchison.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter and son-in-law Angela and James Collins of Pembroke; her grandchildren Harley Brugh and Zeke Snider, Davidson Brugh, and Haileigh Osborne; her special neice Lori Hale and special uncle and aunt Mark and Peggy Hale; and a host of beloved relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, at 11:00 am in the Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.
