Shirley Price Sarver, 68, of Newport departed this life Friday in the peace of her own home. Born in Pearisburg on February 8, 1944 she was a daughter of the late Ira and Mary Woodyard Price. For over forty years she was an employee of Poly-scientific in Blacksburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Ira Price, Jr. and her beloved husband Curtis L. Sarver who just passed on October 30.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter and son-in-law Veronica Sarver Rexrode and Timothy Rexrode of Roanoke; her step-son and his wife Michael and Patricia Sarver of Newport; her grandchildren Ryan and Alyssa Rexrode; her sister Becky Breeden of Pearisburg.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11: 00 am in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with burial following in Birchlawn. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 6 to 8 pm. Online condolences may be sent by visiting kendallfuneralhome.com.
