Shirley Ann Shultz, 67, of Peck St. Pembroke, departed this life Wednesday afternoon, February 27, 2013 at Giles Community Hospital in Pearisburg. Born in Giles County on February 16, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Mary Grace Robertson and Hoge Cumbee. She was retired from VPI in the Housekeeping Dept. and had attended Mt View United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Cumbee.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter April Shultz Blankenship and her husband Little D. Blankenship of Staffordsville; her grandchildren Devin and Dawn Blankenship; and her brother Earl Douglas Cumbee of Pearisburg.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday evening at 7:00 pm in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the services. Online condolences may be sent by visiting kendallfuneralhome.com.
