Stanley Wallace Miller, 67, of Pembroke, departed this life Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Heritage Hall Health Care in Blacksburg. He was born July 14, 1942, a son of the late James Walter and Martha Margaret Smith Miller. He had earned a Bachelors Degree, taught school, and was proud to have published one of his books.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Jo Ann Armbrister Miller; his daughter Alison McLeod and two granddaughters of Bisbee, AZ; his sister Eleanor Pletta of Seneca, SC; her brothers Michael Miller of Pembroke and Stephen Miller of Powhatan; a cousin John Miller of Lawrenceville; an aunt, Louise Robinson of Rich Creek, and several nieces and nephews.
