Stella Bailey Snider, 96 of Goldbond, Virginia departed this Earth for Heaven on October 11, 2022 in the care of Carilion Giles Memorial Hospital. Born in Giles County on April 11, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Georgie Hinchee Bailey.

In addition to her parents, Stella was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Snider; daughter, Linda Stewart; sons-in-law, Darrell K. McDonald, Don Stewart, Larry J. Martin; brothers, Kenneth Hinchee, William "Bill" Bailey, Fred Bailey, Jack Bailey; and sister, Bertha Snider.

Left to cherish her memory to their hearts are son, Clyde Snider (Nancy) of Narrows, Virginia; daughters, Barbara McDonald of Ripplemead, Virginia, Brenda Martin of Pembroke, Virginia, Carol Punturi (Danny) of Montcalm, West Virginia, Shirley Sessor (Mikey) of Goldbond, Virginia; grandchildren, Dreama Stewart (Shane), Debbie Stewart (Dave), Donald Stewart Jr, Bryan Martin (Jenny), Bridget Meneghini
(Jacob), Tanya Snider, and Michael Belcher (Oralea); great-grandchildren, Leslie Cook (Jessie), Ben Atkins, Chloe Snider, Brent Thompson, CJ Hamilton, Dillon Stewart; great-great grandchildren, Sydnee Snider, Cadence Snider, Cody Cook, and Christian Cook; a brother, Frank Bailey Jr. of Ripplemead, Virginia; and a special niece, Janet Kessinger of Goldbond, Virginia.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, October 16, 2022 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, October 16, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Shahn Wilburn officiating.
