Steven Earl Davis, 57, of Newport, departed this life Friday evening, June 27, 2012, in the care of Bland Health and Rehab at Bastian, VA. Born in Gary Indiana on July 17, 1954 he was a son of the late Donald Joseph and Sarah Belle Owskey Davis. Steven was a carpenter by trade before he was disabled.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sister Cheryl Cooley-Newman of Newport and a brother Darrell Davis of Bloomington, Indiana; nieces Christina Sparks and Harmony Sexton and four great nieces.
