Steven Scott Farmer, 54, of 273 Midway Place in Craig County died peacefully Sunday afternoon at his home in the loving care of family and friends. Born in San Luis Obisbo, CA on September 8, 1951 he was a son of the late Robert O. and Betty Cole Farmer. He was an employee of Mercy Housing and used his energies to bring understanding and compassion to a world that needs it so much. His parting comment would have been "What A Long Strange Trip It's Been"

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Elisabeth Vogel; a son Scott Farmer of the home; a daughter Janna Farmer of Pavones, Costa Rica; and a brother Richard Farmer and his wife Diane of Kent, WA.

On Friday June 16, 2006 at 6:00 PM there will be a gathering of friends at his home for a "Celebration Of His Life".The Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke is serving Steven's family.
