Sylvia Ann Broughman, 73, of North Monroe St., Pearisburg, departed this life Tuesday afternoon, October 27, 2015 at her home in the loving care of her family and hospice. Born in Welch, WV on April 10, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Roscoe and Margaret McPherson Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Alice Richards and Thelma Marino and her great-grandchildren Emma and Madisyn Heins.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband James Leroy Broughman; her sons and daughters-in-law Jonathan W. Comer of Pearisburg, Mark Edward and Carla Comer of Pearisburg, Henry Joseph and Mary Comer of Strawberry Plains, TN; her daughter and son-in-law Elizabeth and David Wheeler of Roanoke; her sister and brother-in-law June and Jim Skeens of Georgia; her eight grandchildren and her eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday evening at 8 pm in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with the Rev. Ronnie Richards officiating.
