Tabitha Lynn Heinlein, affectionately known as Tabby to her family and friends departed this life Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at her home in Pembroke, Virginia.  Born in Pearisburg, Virginia on September 17,1967 she was a daughter of Jimmy Neice and the late Charlotte Stevers Neice.

Professionally, Tabby worked proudly in production at Wolverine.  She spent her days loving on her dogs, especially Fat Boy.  She could also be seen talking on her phone to her friends.

Tabby is preceded in death by her mother, Charlotte; grandparents, Beulah and Bill Stevers, and Luther and Bessie Neice; an aunt, Mary Sanders; and uncles, Ray Mabry and Kermit Stevers.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Dwayne Heinlein; father, Jimmy Neice; step-mother, Patty Neice; son, Dakota "Cody" Heinlein; brother Dwayne Neice (Cindy); and several aunts and cousins.

The family will receive friends at a time of visitation on Saturday, August 2, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in Kendall Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 7:00 PM in Kendall Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Poff officiating.  A guestbook is available to send condolences to the family by visiting www.kendallfuneralhome.com.  The staff of Kendall Funeral Home are honored to serve the Heinlein family.
