Tabitha Lynn Childs, 37 of Columbia, TN and formerly of Narrows, VA departed this life suddenly on July 2, 2022.  Born in Richmond, VA on April 22, 1985, she was a daughter of Robin Childs Lafon, and the late Howard Mozingo.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her brother, Corey Lafon.

Left to cherish her memory to their hearts are her mother, Robin Childs Lafon of Dublin, VA; parents by heart (who she called Grandpa and Grandma), Glen and Lucille Ramos of Narrows, VA; great-grandmother, Rachel Eubanks; children, Brandon Ramos, Will Higgs, Malik Whittinghill, and Shyla Childs; special aunts, Sandy Akers (David) of Narrows, VA, and Deronda Riggs (Earl) of Christiansburg, VA; special cousins, Miranda Dunn (Lance), and Erin Cangas (Jesus); brothers, Robert Childs, Joe Lafon III, and David Geesaman; and many more aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Tabitha will be conducted at Bethel Chapel in Clendennin on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 4:00 PM with Pastors Earl Riggs and Eddie Kendall officiating.  Family will receive friends at Bethel Chapel on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM.  A guestbook is available to send condolences or share a sweet story by visiting www.kendallfuneralhome.com .  The staff of Kendall Funeral Home are honored to serve the family of Tabitha.
