Tammy Annette Whittaker, 41, of Pearisburg departed this life Friday morning, June 14, 2013 at Lewis-Gale Medical Center in Salem after a long illness. Born in Mercer Co., WV on April 21, 1972 she was a daughter of the late James Buck and Annie Lee Bower Thornhill.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Earl Lee Whittaker; her son Jonathan Wayne Croy of North Carolina; her brother Timothy Thornhill of Princeton, WV; and her beloved dog Roscoe.

Memorial services will be conducted Tuesday evening, June 18, 2013, at 7:00 pm in the Rogers Street Community Church in Princeton, WV with Pastor Gene Pennington officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the services. The Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke is handling the arrangements.
