Timothy Leon Niece, 37, of Pearisburg departed this life Sunday morning March 30, 2008. Born in Pearisburg he was a son of the late Edward Leon and Linda Gautier Niece. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Angela Hetherington, and step-father Harvey Smith.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Theresa Perkins Niece; a daughter and son-in-law Anglea Nicole and Aaron Summers of Fairbanks, Alaska; a granddaughter McKenzie Summer; a brother Eddie Lee Niece of Radford; sisters and brothers-in-law Sandra and Mike Strickland and Missy and Jermire Dodson all of Goldbond; five brothers-in-law and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be conducted in The Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke Thursday evening at 8:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours before the services. The family respectfully requests that flowers be omitted and contributions be made to Timothy's funeral expenses.
