Travis Lee Turner, Jr, 54 of Christiansburg, Virginia departed this life April 29, 2023 in the care of Johnson City Medical Center after sustaining injuries from an automobile accident. Born in Mississippi on October 11, 1968, he was a son of the late Travis Lee Turner, Sr. and Bobbie Blount Turner.

Travis was a tow truck operator for Campus Automotive. In life though his pride and joy were the moments spent with his grandbabies and family. He also enjoyed spending his time hiking, fishing, and hunting.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, John Mark Turner (Stephanie) of Floyd County, and Brady Turner (Ona Philipp); daughter, Britney Turner (Tyler Meredith) of Christiansburg, VA; grandchildren, Declan Turner, Ethan Ahmann, and Hayden Surratt; sister, Velvet Muirhead (David) of Mississippi; niece, Tiffany Greer; and many cousins and friends.

There will be a memorial service conducted at Auburn Baptist Church in Riner, VA on May 27, 2023 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Shake Smith officiating.
