Viola Pearl Jamison, 88, of McKeesport, PA, and Radford, VA, died Tuesday June 5, 2012 at her home in the loving care of her family. Born in McKeesport on September 13, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth Sharkey Matejcic. She was a beloved homemaker, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother who loved her domestic skills of cooking, baking, and making home for her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband whose loss she never really got over, Robert "Bob" Jamison.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter and caregiver Lynda Jamison of Pittsburg, PA, and her daughter Judi Jamison Terrio of Marshfield, MA; her sister Annamay Palmer of West Mifflin, PA; her grandchildren Brian Elliott, Joel Terrio, Brandon Terrio, and Christian Terrio; her great-grandson Connor Elliott her nieces and nephews Donna Walsh, Anean Pesante, Louis Pesante, Bruce Palmer, Dale Palmer, and Sam Thompson; her beloved co-caregiver Michele Keckley; special friends Sam and Kathy Kerr, Missy Saunders, Tina Hale and Family.
