Walter Macleatus Mills "Mac", 64, of Tranquility Via in Christiansburg, departed this life Monday afternoon, May 4, 2015 at his home that he shared with his long-time friend Audrey Long. He was born in Pearisburg, VA on March 29, 1951 a son of the late Walter Caudill Mills and Essie Beatrice Gilmore Mills. He had been employed as an electrician and auto mechanic before his disability. Mac was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Franklin Emmanuel (Buddy) Mills and Ralph Gilmer Mills.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children Michael Mills of Newport, NC and Shannon Leslie Mills Zeek and her husband Donald of Havelock, NC; his five grandchildren and his sister and her husband Dwendolyn Mills Lilly and Carry of Christiansburg.
