Wanda Dawne Lane, 60, of Pembroke departed this life Monday July 11, 2011 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke after a short illness. Born in Radford on January 24, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Gladys Ratcliffe Moore. She was a graduate of Radford High School and was employed with Moog in Blacksburg.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Donald W. Lane of Pembroke; her sons and daughters-in-law Richard Jr. and Sandra Stewart of Chattanooga, TN, Jeffrey and Susan Stewart of U S Air Force in Germany, William Carl III and Brenda Capps Wilburn of Fairlawn, and Joshua James and Kristin Wilburn of Princeton, WV; her daughter and son-in-law Heather Wilburn and Jason Norris of Asheboro, NC; her step-daughters Barbara D. Carter and her husband Johnny Lee Carter of Goldbond, Drema D. Rhodes of Goldbond; her sister Norma Hart and her husband Glenn of Virginia Beach; and her nine grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 2:00 pm in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with burial following in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.
