Wayne Curtis Viars, 63 of Christiansburg, VA departed this life suddenly February 5, 2023 in his home.  Born in Giles County, Virginia on October 4, 1959 he was a son of the late Julius and Wanda Rock Viars.

Wayne was a painter by trade and enjoyed fishing and painting.

In addition to his parents, Wayne is preceded in death by sisters, Sandra Robertson, Anita Lucas, and Cheryl Pulliam; and a brother, Randy Viars.

Left to cherish his memory to their hearts are his daughter; Brandy Viars of Blacksburg, VA (Jason Brumfield); grandchildren, Koltin Rice, and Reagan Rice; fiancée, Ruth Marshall; sister, Carrie Spicer (Larry) of Pembroke; and brothers-in-law, Cleve Robertson, and Ed Lucas.
