William Pen Conley, 63, of Pearisburg, departed this life Thursday, April 7, 2011 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. Born in Giles County on January 14, 1948, he was a son of the late William Riley and Hulda Frances Warden Conley. He had been employed in production work at Pulaski Furniture Company before he retired. "Billy Boy" as he was known by his family was preceded in death by his parents and a sister "Tootsie" Cumbee.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law Merrill and Carolyn Conley of Pembroke, Doug and Linda Conley of Pearisburg, Earl and Sandy Conley of Bristol; his sisters and brothers-in-law Edna May and Curtis Warden of Pulaski, Dixie and Eddie Moser of Pearisburg, Louise Sexton of Atkins, and Katherine and David Sulva of Newport News.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., in Pembroke. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the services. Online condolences may be sent by visiting kendallfuneralhome.com.
