William Alfred Spicer, 71 of Pearisburg, VA departed this life suddenly October 10, 2020. Born in Narrows, VA on March 5, 1949, he was a son of the late Willie and Ercell Keffer Spicer.

William is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Eugene, Arnold, Jerry, Bobby, and Ronnie Spicer; sisters, Joyce Blankenship, and Reba Spicer.

Left to cherish his memory are a son, Billy Joe Spicer Sr. (Ashley Sparks) of Narrows, VA; a daughter, Tasha Thomas (Jesse) of Peterstown, WV; brothers Jeffery Spicer (Shelley) of Narrows, and Larry Spicer (Carrie) of Pembroke; sisters, Loretta Blankenship (Roger) of Pearisburg, and Brenda Meadows (Witty) of Narrows, VA; grandchildren, Billy Joe Spicer Jr, Rhiannon Spicer, Alexander Spicer, Justice Sparks, Willow Sparks, Talon Sparks, Destiny Spicer, Heath Pitzer, Jayde Thomas, and LJ Thomas; great-grandchildren, Brayden Spicer, Alice Spicer, Ronnie Spicer, and Solomon Jarrell; the mother of his children and life-long friend, Joyce Warner; best friends, Danny Williams, Ricky Thorne, Gene Thorne, Everette Thorne, Larry Dalton, Elmer Fleeman and so many more.

There will be a graveside service held on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 1:30 PM in Angels Rest Cemetery in Narrows, VA with Pastor Jim Hagy officiating. Family will receive friends at the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel in Pembroke, VA Wednesday, October 14, 2020 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM.
