Retired Policeman William Francis Van Mullen Sr., fondly known as Bill, passed away peacefully at home on October 17, 2025. He will be remembered as a true American hero, whose life was marked by extraordinary inner strength, resilience, and exceptional bravery in the face of adversity. Bill was not only a valiant warrior and steadfast protector, but also a selfless individual who served with unwavering dedication in both the United States Marine Corps and the Manchester NH Police Department.
Service to Country
Born with a spirit of service and an unbreakable resolve, Bill first answered the call to protect his nation as a proud member of the United States Marine Corps, serving in Vietnam. Through his courage and commitment, he stood on the front lines for freedom, embodying honor, loyalty, and valor at every turn.
Dedication to Community
After his military service, Bill returned to his home state where his dedication to protecting others never diminished.
